Imagine that you are living 200 years in the future. Earth has been invaded by a powerful empire, Akkadiana, but you manage to escape with several friends in a small space ship.Your space ship lands on an unknown planet, but you find that the geography and the environment is just like Earth. The only difference is there are no cities, towns or villages and you and your friends are the only humans here.

Your task:
1) Think about what you have learned in Chapters 4-7 before you begin this blog.

2) Identify 3 environmental factors you would look for before you build your own small village.

3) Write a short explanation for each environmental factor describing why they are important for the survival of your village.

Example: I would look for a river...(give details)

Environmental Factor 1: I would look for rainforest because I think that rainforest would have some resources that could be used. Like fruits and land. First fruit will help people from hunger. Then we could plant the seed in nice fertile land.

Environmental Factor 2: I would look for river or lake for water. Some river or lake will have water that is clean enough to drink and use it. I think water will be most important thing for life in this planet. But we may make canals for farming and take care of this canal.

Environmental Factor 3: I would look for mountain for a shelter. In moutain we could find place that have sutaible tempreture for farming or a shelter. In moutain there will be different kind of fruits from rainforest and will have animals to hunt.

Is My Country Civilization?

My country, Korea is very small country. But I know my country works hard to become civilized. Now I know they succed making Korea a better place. I will write 7 characteristic that makes my country civilized.

Writing: Korea have its own language and its own writing. They call 'Hanguel'. Its invented in Josun dinasty by Empereor Sejong. It have been used for many century. Some people in Korea use english now days but people still use 'Hanguel' in good ways.





Religion: Korea have at least 2 impotant religions. 'Buddhism' and 'Christan'. Buddhism was belived for many many century. When Americans and and other people from Europe started to come to Korea, some people in Korea started to belive christian. Now christian is also important religion as buddhism.





Technology: Korea is very fast country. They invent any device almost everyday. LG(Life's Good), Lotte, and Samsung is some famous company in Korea. They have also spread around the world. Like Malaysia, they use phone from Samsung and LG more than Nokia. Technology in Korea will grow more and more.





Social Structure: Korea had many levels about people. But now, after Josun dinasty, there is no levels with people now days. Lowest level was slave, and highest level used to be king and goverment. But we do have level in company.

Goverment: Korea is country that have presidant. Goverment should be needed in Korea. But, because their are lots of goverment there are lots of fighting.



Stable food suply: Korea usually eats the crops like barley and rice. Farmers in countryside works enough to get paid from governmet. In Korea, goverment pays farmers and collect the crops from a farmer and sell it in market or in other stores.



Arts: Korea do have culture in its own. Koreans had drawn many paintings for thousands years. They drew picture of person, and animals, and places around them. They draw paintings a lot but Korea is also famous for making pottery out of mud.

This is the 7 charcteristic of Korea, where its civilized enough. I think people in the past in Korea, are very wisdom enough to make our country civilized.

My New Goal In 2010

1 year ago, I made som goals for 2009. But now, I'm making a new goal for 2010. I succeed some of my goals in 2009 but not all of them. In 2010, I want to make new goals and achieve them until end of 2010. But I will make goals that I can achieve them. Now I will put my goals in list form.

1. I will never play any video game or computer game when I have work to do.



2. I will try to raise my grade and never do things that give problem in my grades.



3. Never lie to anyone.



4. Try to be close with my teachers and friends.



5. Never hurt others feeling.



6. Respect most of people.

First,I don't play game that often but I just can't control, once I start to play. Second, I'll try my best to do in my school works and homework. Then I won't have any missing works or late works. Third, I will not lie to anyone. I want to be more honest person. Fourth, I want to be more close with my teachers and friends who don't know me that well. Next, I will not hurt others feelings so I won't get in to trouble. Finally, I will respect all the people I know.

I think these goals are not hard and easy to succeed in 2010. I will try my best to achieve my goals for 2010.

What I did in winter vacation

Few more hours later I will be at Inchon airport. I feel like 1 semester is like few days. I was so excited and I could hardly believe that I am going to Korea. I was planning about what I should do. When I was thinking the plane already arrived at Korea.

I used to spend time on watching movie. There were some good movies in cinema, like Avatar, Sherlock Holmes and Alvin and the chipmunks. I watch 2 of them. Avatar in 3-D and the Alvin and the chipmunks. It was really nice and I also watched some Christmas movies like Home Alone. It was very funny and even I watch it several times I don’t get boring. I spent lot of time at watching movie.

I went to Rail cruise after 1 week I’ve came to Korea. The train was really nice than I thought. Our Room had bunk bed which 3 people could sleep at down and 1 person could sleep in up, and bathroom which I could take showers and TV and DVD. It was 2 nights and 3 days. I went to country side that I never went. I liked the rail bike and the seeing the sun rising at the last day of 2009.

At the last day in Korea, I went to Lotte World. It is one of famous theme park. But I didn’t go to theme park; we went to ice link inside the theme park. I did ice skating for 2hours with my sister. It was really slippery to ride ice skating but it was still fun. My leg was pain to death but my sister was really good skater.


At the airport after saying good bye to my dad, my mom went to buy her eyeliner and I went to buy some CD’s of 2PM and Beast (Korean singers). When it was time to board, I went to Gate 24. But unexpectProxy-Connection: keep-alive

ly I met Jin Ki in the airport. It was really nice to see him in month. After the plane was in sky, I was sitting beside the Jin Ki. Six and a half hour I arrived and Malaysia.
